Alhambra

The Alhambra is a concert and performance venue at 21 Rue Yves Toudic, in Paris's 10th arrondissement. Its regular programme includes rock, hard rock, metal, punk, jazz, blues, pop, indie, K-pop, rap, hip-hop, R&B, soul, world music, classical music and electro concerts, as well as comedy, theatre, magic, dance and musical shows. The venue bills itself as 'La Scène de Toutes Les Musiques' ('The Stage for All Music'), and its name pays tribute to the Alhambra-Maurice Chevalier music hall, which closed in the 1960s and stood around 300 metres away. The current building retains, as its only surviving art deco feature, the monumental staircase leading to the balcony and foyer; the rest was rebuilt as a fully soundproofed auditorium. Tickets are sold online or at the box office, which is open only on performance days, one hour before the show. The venue is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
