White Stork Synagogue

Synagogue built between 1827 and 1829 to a design by Carl Ferdinand Langhans, in the historic Jewish quarter. It survived Kristallnacht and the war, although it was left badly damaged, and was restored and reopened in 2010. Today it is a centre of Jewish culture and one of the few historic synagogues preserved in the city.
