CultureVisit: ~30 minFree
Former cathedral of Cartagena, built on Concepción hill above the Roman Theatre, on the site of an old temple dedicated to the Virgin. Of medieval origin, it was an episcopal seat and was left in ruins after the fire of 1939 during the Civil War and other earlier damage. Today walls and arches survive that overlook the city and form part of the Roman theatre route.
