Reykjavik Lutheran Cathedral
CultureVisit: ~15 min
The Dómkirkjan is a small Lutheran church with simple lines, next to Austurvöllur square. It was consecrated in 1796 and is the seat of the Bishop of Iceland and the place of the annual opening of Parliament. Its white exterior and discreet tower contrast with the great Hallgrímskirkja. The interior is bright and sober.
