Lumphini Park
NatureVisit: ~90 min
Bangkok's great urban park in the city centre, covering about 57 hectares, opened in 1925 under Rama VI, to whom a statue at the entrance is dedicated. It has lakes, paths, exercise areas and a small wood. Its best-known wildlife is the water monitor lizards, which roam freely over the grass and in the lake. In the morning you can see locals practising tai chi and aerobics.
