Hindu shrine dedicated to Thao Maha Phrom, the god Brahma, at the Ratchaprasong intersection, opposite the Grand Hyatt Erawan hotel. It was erected in 1956 to counter bad omens during the construction of a hotel and today is a much-visited place of prayer. Worshippers leave flower garlands, incense and candles, and commission traditional Thai dances as thanks.
