CultureVisit: ~45 min
Colonial building erected between 1725 and 1765 as the seat of the municipal government, with an arcaded gallery and a tower. The May Revolution of 1810 was decided here. The opening of the Avenida de Mayo and the Diagonal Norte cut down its original size. Today it houses the National Museum of the Cabildo and the May Revolution.
