Museum opened in 2022 on Sheikh Zayed Road, devoted to technology, climate and ideas about the future. Its building, an oval ring about 77 metres high, is clad in stainless steel with Arabic calligraphic phrases by the ruler Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the work of the calligrapher Mattar bin Lahej. It was designed by the firm Killa Design and the interior has no visible pillars.
