Mosque built in 1979 in light-coloured stone, Fatimid-inspired, with two minarets and a large central dome. It is one of the few in Dubai that admit non-Muslim visitors, through a guided tour organised by the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding. The tour explains the architecture, prayer and local customs. You must dress modestly and women must cover their hair.
