Breitscheidplatz is home to the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, whose ruined tower was preserved as a memorial against war and destruction. Next to the church stands the Europa-Center, home to the Uhr der fließenden Zeit, a 13-metre-high water clock with water spheres spread across three levels. Facing the Europa-Center is the Weltkugelbrunnen, popularly known as the Wasserklops.
