Jewish delicatessen on Houston Street in the Lower East Side, open since 1888. It is famous for its pastrami and the pastrami sandwich on rye bread, hand-cut at the counter. On entering you are given a ticket to hand in when you pay. It became known worldwide for the scene in the film When Harry Met Sally (1989), with the line “I'll have what she's having”. People come for the sandwich and the movie scene.
