Little Italy
Food & drinkVisit: ~60 min
Lower Manhattan neighbourhood formed by Italian immigrants in the late 19th century, centred on Mulberry Street. Today it is much smaller than it once was, because Chinatown has gradually taken over some of its streets, but it still has restaurants, cafés and pastry shops in the Italian-American tradition. Every September it hosts the Feast of San Gennaro, one of the best-known street festivals in the city.
