The Medici funerary complex attached to the Basilica of San Lorenzo. The Chapel of the Princes, with its great marbles and hard stones, holds the tombs of the grand dukes. The New Sacristy, by Michelangelo, contains the tombs of Lorenzo and Giuliano de' Medici with the sculptures of Day and Night, Dusk and Dawn. The entrance is at the back of the church.
