A covered iron-and-glass market designed by Giuseppe Mengoni and opened in 1874, next to the Basilica of San Lorenzo. The ground floor keeps the traditional stalls of meat, fish, cured meats, cheeses and vegetables. The upper floor, renovated in 2014, works as a food hall with stalls selling pizza, pasta, burgers, breads and ice cream.
