Pontochō
Food & drinkVisit: ~60 min
A very narrow, cobbled alley that runs parallel to the Kamo River, between Sanjō and Shijō, full of restaurants and teahouses. In the warm months, many venues set up terraces over the river (kawayuka) for dining with a breeze by the water. It is one of the most recognisable nightlife spots in Kyoto.
