A covered market on Via Galvani, in Testaccio, opened in 2012 as the new home of the old market in Piazza Testaccio. It brings together fruit, vegetable, meat, cheese and fish stalls with food stalls for eating on the spot, such as sandwiches, pizza or Roman dishes. It is next to the ruins of Monte Testaccio and the old slaughterhouses.
