Miracle Beach
Miracle Beach is the closest beach to the centre of Tarragona. It is about 500 metres long, with fine golden sand and a gentle slope into the sea. It stretches between the Passeig de Rafael Casanova and Carrer de Robert d'Aguiló, next to the Real Club Náutico de Tarragona. A long seafront promenade links it with l'Arrabassada beach and, along the coastal path, with the rest of the city's beaches. The most usual way in is from the Rambla Nova, down the steps on either side of the Balcó del Mediterrani. It has showers, foot-washing points, drinking fountains, toilets, walkways, lifeguards and first aid, and assisted bathing with an amphibious chair. In season there are beach bars. In the distance you can see the Roman amphitheatre above the coast.
