Bahia Palace
Late 19th-century palace commissioned by Si Moussa, grand vizier of the sultan, and extended by his son Ba Ahmed, who effectively governed Morocco in the 1890s. It brings together courtyards with fountains, rooms with painted cedar wood ceilings, carved stucco and zellige in a succession of chambers around a large marble-paved court of honour and interior gardens. It is in the medina, near the Mellah district.
