NatureVisit: ~120 min
Large wooded estate of ash and oak trees next to the Monastery of El Escorial, which belonged to the crown from Philip II, who used it for hunting and retreat. It stretches up to the slope of Mount Abantos with paths, pastures and, on its edge, the Silla de Felipe II and the Casita del Príncipe. It is one of the most popular walks for those visiting San Lorenzo de El Escorial.
