Neoclassical leisure pavilion designed by Juan de Villanueva for the infante Gabriel, son of Charles III, in the late 18th century. It forms part of the Royal Site of El Escorial and stands on the slope of Mount Abantos, above the monastery, among vegetable gardens and terraced gardens. It is a small residence designed for the rest and outdoor life of the court.
