Deoksugung Palace
CultureVisit: ~75 min
A palace in central Seoul where Emperor Gojong resided in the late 19th century. It is unusual because, alongside traditional buildings, stands the Seokjojeon, a neoclassical hall of 1910 in Western style. The stone wall street, Deoksugung-gil, which runs along the compound, is a well-known promenade. A changing of the guard takes place at the Daehanmun gate.
