Oberbaumbrücke
CultureVisit: ~30 min
Bridge over the Spree linking Kreuzberg and Friedrichshain, built between 1894 and 1896 in neo-Gothic brick, with towers and arches inspired by medieval architecture. It has two levels, with the roadway below and the U1 metro viaduct above. It was damaged in the Second World War and rebuilt, and the East Side Gallery is preserved nearby along the river. It is one of the most photographed bridges in Berlin.
