Musée des Confluences
CultureVisit: ~150 min
Museum of science and societies opened in December 2014 at the tip of the peninsula, where the Rhône and the Saône meet. The building, by the Austrian studio Coop Himmelb(l)au, combines a large glass structure with a steel volume of deconstructivist forms. Its collections cover natural history, anthropology and science, and are organised around the origins of life, societies and death.
