Chapel of Santiago
The Chapel of Santiago, also known as the Ermita de Santiago, is a Catholic church on Plaza de los Naranjos, in the centre of Marbella's old town. Dating from the 15th century, it is considered the oldest religious building in the city, built after the Crown of Castile took Marbella. The church consists of a single rectangular nave covered with Moorish-style tiles and is home to the Brotherhood of the Santísimo Cristo del Amor, María Santísima de la Caridad and San Juan Evangelista. The visit offers a look at a key building in Marbella's heritage, in a central, monumental setting.
