Palace of Fine Arts
White marble theatre and museum at the eastern end of the Alameda Central. The Italian architect Adamo Boari began the works in 1904 and the building opened in 1934, by then under Federico Mariscal. Outside it blends art nouveau and neoclassical; inside, art deco. On the upper floors you can see murals by Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, José Clemente Orozco and Rufino Tamayo. The stage holds a Tiffany glass curtain.
