Alameda Central
NatureVisit: ~45 min
Public park in the historic centre, created in 1592 by order of the viceroy Luis de Velasco II and considered one of the oldest in the Americas. It has fountains, tree-lined walks and sculptures, and on the south side the Hemiciclo a Juárez, from 1910. It sits next to the Palacio de Bellas Artes and close to the Torre Latinoamericana, so it works as a hub for strolling around the centre.
