Porto Cathedral
The Sé do Porto stands on a hill at the highest point of the old town, next to the Terreiro da Sé esplanade. It is Romanesque in origin, from the 12th century, with a fortress-like appearance, and was enlarged in the Gothic and Baroque periods. It preserves a Gothic cloister decorated with 18th-century azulejos and a Baroque loggia designed by Nicolau Nasoni. From the esplanade you can see the lower part of the city.
