Janiculum
NatureVisit: ~60 min
A hill in Rome above Trastevere, although it is not one of the seven historic hills. From its terrace, beside the monument to Garibaldi, there is a wide panorama of the city's rooftops, domes and bell towers. Every day at noon a cannon is fired from the spot, a tradition kept since the 19th century. You can walk up from Trastevere.
