A 16th-century Renaissance palace of the Córdova family, originally built in the Placeta de las Descalzas and moved stone by stone to the Cuesta del Chapiz, in the Albaicín, in the mid-20th century. Today it houses the Municipal Archive of Granada, and its gardens, with cypresses, hedges and views of the Alhambra, can be visited. It is a short step from the Paseo de los Tristes and the start of the path up to Sacromonte.
