El Bund es el paseo junto al río Huangpu donde se alinean los grandes edificios de la época de las concesiones: bancos, aduanas y hoteles de estilos neoclásico, art déco y neogótico, como el antiguo HSBC y la Aduana. Enfrente se levanta el skyline de Lujiazui. Al anochecer se encienden ambas orillas y el paseo se llena: es el momento clásico para verlo, a pie o desde uno de los barcos que recorren el río.
