CultureVisit: ~45 minFreeOpening hours: Abierto de día
Trajan's Forum is the last and largest of Rome's imperial forums, built in the early 2nd century with the spoils of the conquest of Dacia. Of its enormous monumental complex there survive today Trajan's Column, 38 metres tall, which stood between two libraries, a section of the markets and remains of the Basilica Ulpia with re-erected columns. Visitors walk through an archaeological area open to the public since 2016, free of architectural barriers, where they can get an idea of the scale of the original colonnaded square and the buildings that surrounded it.
