Deep gorge carved by the Guadalevín river that divides Ronda into two halves, the old town and the Mercadillo district. Its vertical walls exceed 100 metres in height in places, and the Puente Nuevo joins them at the narrowest point. Several viewpoints along the edge let you look down at the riverbed and the orchards at the bottom.
