One of the oldest and most famous bullrings in Spain, built between 1749 and 1881 on the banks of the Guadalquivir by the Royal Cavalry of Seville. Its ring is slightly oval in shape, the Puerta del Príncipe is the gate most coveted by bullfighters, and the bullfighting museum traces its history. The Feria de Abril is the peak of its season.
