Church of San Pedro y San Felices
A 14th-century Gothic parish church in south-west Burgos, in the San Pedro de la Fuente district. It was linked to the Order of St John of Jerusalem until 1855, when it came under the parish of San Cosme y San Damián. In 1963 it was extended southwards in neo-Gothic style and the original Gothic nave became the transept; in 2015 a modern parish centre was added. The high altar has no altarpiece: in its place there is a tabernacle and a throne under a canopy with the image of Our Lady of Rocamador, which came from the church of San Román, destroyed during the Peninsular War. Among the altarpieces, one dedicated to Saint Peter, from the 18th century, and another to Saint Mary stand out, and in the apse there is a mosaic of the Crucified Christ by Santiago Padrós. The district holds a procession on 22 February and on 15 May, the feast of Saint Isidore the Farmer.
