Trafalgar Studios
The Trafalgar Theatre is a West End theatre on Whitehall, near Trafalgar Square. The current Grade II listed building was constructed in 1930 with Art Deco interiors and has gone through several phases: a theatre for comedies and revues, a television and radio studio in the 1990s, and a theatre again since 2004, when it was divided into two auditoriums. After a multimillion-pound restoration, in 2021 it regained its original single-auditorium design with greater capacity and a larger stage. Visitors can attend large-scale productions, such as the musical Jersey Boys that opened the new era, and appreciate the architectural details of an interior listed for its historic and decorative value.
