Baroque palace complex built by Johann Lukas von Hildebrandt for Prince Eugene of Savoy in the early 18th century. It consists of the Upper and Lower Belvedere, joined by a sloping garden with ponds and sculptures. The Upper Belvedere houses the largest collection of Klimt, with The Kiss and Judith, as well as works by Schiele and Kokoschka. It is in the Landstraße district, south of the centre.
