The Admiralspalast is a theatre on Friedrichstraße, in Berlin's Mitte district, with 1,756 seats. Opened in 1910 as part of a large leisure complex, it is one of the city's few surviving variety venues from before the Second World War. It originally included an ice rink, a public bathhouse, bowling alleys, a café and a cinema open day and night. After the First World War it became a venue for revues and operettas, and between 1946 and 1955 it housed the Berlin State Opera.
