Málaga Museum

The Málaga Museum brings together, in the Customs Palace, the collections of the Museum of Fine Arts and the Provincial Archaeological Museum, letting visitors explore more than 15,000 archaeological pieces and around 2,000 paintings from the 19th and 20th centuries. Its rooms display works by artists such as Luis de Morales, Murillo, Sorolla, Picasso and Goya, as well as archaeological objects spanning from Prehistory to the Islamic period, including finds from the Alcazaba of Málaga and Roman and Phoenician pieces. The museum also has a room for temporary exhibitions devoted to the painter Eugenio Chicano, presenting special shows that complement the permanent collection.
