Museum of Applied Arts on the Stubenring, founded in 1864 and housed since 1871 in a neo-Renaissance building by Heinrich von Ferstel. It brings together furniture, textiles, ceramics, glass and design from all periods. It holds Gustav Klimt's cartoons for the frieze of the Palais Stoclet in Brussels and an important collection of the Wiener Werkstätte and Jugendstil.
