Hundertwasserhaus
CultureVisit: ~30 min
Social housing block in the Landstraße district, built between 1983 and 1985 according to ideas by Friedensreich Hundertwasser, with Josef Krawina as collaborating architect. It stands out for its colourful façade, undulating floors, ceramic columns and trees growing on balconies and terraces. It is a lived-in residence, so it can only be viewed from the street, at the corner of Kegelgasse and Löwengasse.
