A large avenue in central Seville, now mostly pedestrianised, running from the Puerta de Jerez to the Plaza Nueva. Along it are the Cathedral, the Archivo de Indias and the surroundings of the Alcázar. The Metrocentro tram runs along it, and it is the axis along which you can walk from end to end through the city's monumental heart.
