CultureVisit: ~15 min
The Neptunbrunnen is a monumental bronze fountain by the sculptor Reinhold Begas, inaugurated in 1891. Neptune dominates the ensemble and at his feet four female figures represent the rivers Rhine, Elbe, Oder and Vistula. It originally stood in front of the Royal Palace and since 1969 it has been between the Red Town Hall and the Marienkirche, next to the Fernsehturm.
