Westminster Cathedral
CultureVisit: ~45 min
The main Catholic cathedral of England and Wales, on Victoria Street. The work of John Francis Bentley, it was built between 1895 and 1903 in the Neo-Byzantine style, with a red-brick façade and bands of white Portland stone. It is distinguished by its 87-metre bell tower. It should not be confused with Westminster Abbey, which is Anglican and a few minutes’ walk away.
