Tsukiji Market
The old Tsukiji wholesale market moved its auctions to Toyosu in 2018, but its outer market is still very much alive: a maze of little streets with stalls selling fish and seafood, Japanese omelette (tamagoyaki), knives and kitchen utensils, and small sushi restaurants and seafood bowls. It is a morning plan: almost everything opens at dawn and closes in the early afternoon.
