Almoravid Qubba
CultureVisit: ~15 min
Small 12th-century building, raised under the Almoravids, and one of the few vestiges of that dynasty preserved in Marrakesh. It was probably an ablutions hall of the old Ben Youssef mosque. Its dome of interlaced arches with palm and shell decoration is considered a model of early Hispano-Maghrebi art. It is in the medina, a few steps from the Ben Youssef madrasa and the Marrakech Museum.
