Basilica of St Peter and St Paul
A church within the Vyšehrad complex, built on an 11th-century Romanesque foundation. Its present appearance is neo-Gothic, the result of a reconstruction in the late 19th century, with two slender towers visible from much of the Vltava river. The interior is decorated with Art Nouveau-style paintings and polychrome decoration on walls and vaults. It stands beside the Vyšehrad cemetery, on top of the rock above the river.
