Cemetery founded in 1869 next to the Basilica of St Peter and St Paul, in the Vyšehrad fortress. It holds the graves of Czech figures such as the composers Antonín Dvořák and Bedřich Smetana, the painter Alfons Mucha, the writer Karel Čapek and the author Božena Němcová. The Slavín collective monument brings together other national figures. It is also a place for a stroll among gravestones and sculptures.
