Museum of Russian art founded by the merchant Pavel Tretyakov, who donated his collection to the city of Moscow in 1892. It is in the Zamoskvorechye district, on Lavrushinsky Lane, behind a facade designed by Viktor Vasnetsov. It holds medieval icons such as the Virgin of Vladimir and Andrei Rublev's Trinity, as well as Russian painting from the 18th century to the early 20th.
