A stadium designed by the architects Herzog & de Meuron with the artist Ai Weiwei as adviser, known as the Bird's Nest for its interwoven steel mesh. It was built for the 2008 Olympic Games and hosted their opening and closing ceremonies. It later also hosted the 2022 Winter Games. It is in the Olympic Park, north of Beijing.
