An artificial hill in central Beijing, built in the Ming era with earth excavated from the moats, just north of the Forbidden City. At the top is the Wanchun Pavilion, from where you can see the whole axis of the Forbidden City to the south. You climb it by steps in a few minutes. It is the most popular viewpoint over the palace's yellow roofs.
